The game

• It's free and for fun. There are no prizes and no betting.
• Points come from public Chess.com data, which can be late, change or be wrong. Scores can change until a week is final, and we may correct them afterwards if something went wrong.
• Sovereign Gambit is an independent fan project and isn't made or endorsed by Chess.com. Chess.com is a trademark of its owner.

Your account

• One person per account. Keep your password to yourself.
• Pick a display name and league names that aren't offensive or pretending to be someone else.
• Don't try to game the scoring with fake or arranged games, or overload the site. We can remove leagues, duels or accounts that break these rules.

No guarantees

We run the site as it is and may change or stop features. We aren't liable for lost points, lost bragging rights or anything else that comes from using a free game, except where the law doesn't allow limiting liability.

Ending

You can delete your account in your profile at any time. We can close accounts that break these terms.
